Apella Resources Inc. (CVE:APA) reports that according to an updated resource estimation by SGS-Geostat, there may an increase of approximately 24% in the quantity of the inferred resource at its Iron-T Vanadium-Iron-Titanium Project in Quebec, Canada.
The demand for vanadium will be driven by high strength low alloy steel, which will be needed in rebuilding Japan's infrastructure.
Apella Resources (CVE:APA) reports highly significant disseminated, semi massive and massive vanadiferous mineralization has been intersected in two more drill holes during the third round of drilling on its Iron-T Vanadium-Iron-Titanium project near Matagami, Quebec. Positive assay results from the two additional drill holes have been received and highlights include 99.89 metres (327.7 feet) of 0.41% Vanadium [...]
World steel production is firming up, after a dismal performance in 2009. This can only mean good news for vanadium producers.
